This 8685 Next Gen brings a new 7x7 CEA (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) technology compressor wheel machined from a 2618-aluminum closed die forging for strength and optimized airflow and an all-new compressor cover design with flow enhancements and advanced machining techniques providing 15% more airflow and greater efficiency at higher pressure ratios. Tested, it makes more power than our current 8685 Gen 2 turbocharger.
As part of the continuous evolution of our product lineup we found an opportunity in the 86mm turbocharger segment a couple of years ago. Our Gen 2 8685 Sportsman turbocharger was a very high performing unit setting records in different classes in the import scene for different engine platforms like 2jz, 4g63, B series and others. With our newest generation of turbo technology already having huge success at the track and with our racers asking for more power and efficiency, we are bringing you guys the all-new 8685 Next GEN turbo.
This unit is available now in T4 divided or V-Band In/out housing options.
